Khao Sok is one of the best-known national parks in southern Thailand, with limestone cliffs, caves, waterfalls and a large area of rainforest. The landscape is quite different between the forest and Cheow Lan Lake, where you can travel by longtail boat through the limestone mountains and see parts of the rainforest from the water.

There are different ways to visit Khao Sok, from a short day trip to several days in the area. Some trips include an overnight stay in one of the floating bungalows on Cheow Lan Lake, along with activities such as jungle trekking, cave visits, birdwatching and boat trips. Some caves and trails are also affected by water levels and the season, so what you can visit may change during the year.
